Born on November 11, 1964 in Freeport, Illinois, Calista Kay Flockhart began her acting career in 1989 when she was in the film Guiding Light. Flockharts next role came in the TV movie Darrow which was followed by Naked in New York, Getting In, Quiz Show, Jane Doe and The Birdcage. In 1997 Flockhart won her best known role as the lead character in Ally McBeal, Flockhart continued the series until its end in 2002. In between working on the show Flockhart took roles in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her and Bash: Latter-Day Plays. In 2004 Flockhart was in The Last Shot and then Fragile before landing as role as Kitty Walker on the TV series Brothers Sisters. |
